  2. i think every day you change something with your blog. tonight, i see snow!it goes well with the “crookedy” photograph. there’s a lot of energy in today’s photo- symbolized by the power lines and towers.and so here is a connection: it is almost thanksgiving day in california, which begets a tradition for saying one thing to be thankful for.i’m thankful for the connection we have. the power grid. the internet. the words and the images we share. i hope that doesn’t change..-= Seraphine´s last blog ..<a href="http://encoreseraphine.com/2009/11/25/gerascophobia-fear-of-the-mad-fall/“ rel=”nofollow”>Gerascophobia: Fear of the Mad-Fall =-.

  7. Hey Elaine – I like what you did with the colors here. Reminds me of my “Lomo” camera. When I would get the pics developed the colors came out similar to this. I like it very much and you picked just the right time to pull the shutter ;).-= John Masters´s last blog ..<a href="http://johnmasters.net/2009/11/26/roads-i-follow/“ rel=”nofollow”>Roads I Follow =-.

  12. Really like this shot, I like the scratches on the image, makes it look old (it’s a digital camera, so do you add this effect post processing or print it out and add scratches to the print…regardless, it looks good). I like the angle of the shot, the sense of journey, really reminds me of the work of Daido Moriyama, one of the best photographers in Japan who just shoots whatever he comes across. You should check him out if you have time..-= Will´s last blog ..<a href="http://www.willrobbphotography.com/2009/11/whisky-galore/“ rel=”nofollow”>Whisky galore =-.

  13. This is a very cool shot Elaine! I like the motion and angle of the frame. The power lines create such an energy. Nice one :).-= bluechameleon´s last blog ..<a href="http://bluechameleon.aminus3.com/image/2009-11-25.html“ rel=”nofollow”>unfocused memory =-.

  15. A helluva photograph, Elaine! Love it, love it, love it. Feels like running free at last. At least I’m running out of words to say how great this beauty is … brilliant! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch..-= Fritsch´s last blog ..<a href="http://www.hobokollektiv.net/?p=956“ rel=”nofollow”>invisible city XII =-.

  17. I love the feeling of dystopia here – the repeating giant power lines, blur, and processing all combine for a very bleak photograph..-= SD (Aspherical)´s last blog ..<a href="http://aspherical.foursevenfour.net/index.php?showimage=1118“ rel=”nofollow”>ultramodern =-.
