  1. nothing like faith to drive away the pain.. ;D very nice capture.. 🙂

  2. The agge-old question of why bad things happen to good people, Elaine. I hope you’ve found help in those books?

  3. Mind over matter. Isn’t that what ‘faith’ is about?? Nice image!!!

  4. A naturally free mind next door. That’s what I came here for. That’s why I stay here. Great still life, great photograph, Elaine! And I love this soft light & shadows. Made my day, dear. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

  5. I like the play of shadow and light. Back pain is terrible to live with. I’ve got it too; I believe it came from falling down a cliff and landing almost squarely on my tush many years ago (lucky I didn’t break my spine, I guess). I used to go to the chiropractor all the time, but for the past few months I’ve managed to stay pain free from self-help with trigger point therapy (book – "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief" tool – "body back buddy" or "thera cane" – search on Amazon).I was skeptical at first, but now I’d recommend anybody with back pain to give it a try.

  6. nice theme and great mood

  7. Elaine – The recommendations above are for one book. The "body back buddy" and the "thera cane" are tools for doing trigger point therapy. Basically the book tells you where, and the tool is what the therapy is done with. I have the "body back buddy", but the "thera cane" is almost the same thing.

  8. pain free. i’d love that. like they say, nothing is free.god is better than pain pills. or maybe god and pain pills work in mysterious ways.
