The Sound of Silence

I stay up all night, because I want to be alone. The days are full of hurry, of people and their…agitation … flooding over me, up close and really loud, even though I’m nestled away in my home, I can still feel them… all the people.

In the night, in the silence, I feel lonely. But if I must be lonely, I think I’d rather be alone.

the silence, like a cancer, grows...
