Phone’s For You!
Are you old enough to remember stretching the cord too far when you talked on the phone and your Mom would get mad?
I know I am!

I know I am!
Me too…it was a different era…
seems like a different LIFE, doesn’t it? xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
I think those long cords were an American thing. We never had it in my part of the world – or maybe I was just to ignorant to notice. I remember having to stand close to the phone to be able to talk. For me those long cords were associated with films I watched.
so you were a short cord country! nuthin’ wrong with that 🙂 xoxoxoxoxox
I do remember! Now we each have our own. This photo has a dreamy feel. Friendship
yes, it’s a WORLD of phones! lol I blame Tesla lol xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Not only that but we had a phone that was made with oak. A crank phone. Our ring was two longs. We were on a party line so everyone’s phone would ring at the same time so lots of snoopers. The upside was you could hear your hone ring at the neighbours and answer it there.
woah!!! now THAT’S a cool memory!! i’m a big city girl, so i never had anything awesome like that xoxoxoxoxox
oh i like this close up shot, Elaine. it could be worthy of sending to one of those stock image sites.
