Pi

There once was a girl who loved pi
I never could quite fathom why
To her it’s a wonder
To me just a number
Its beauty revealed by and by
Three point one four one five nine
Makes the lazy student whine,
But give this ratio a try-
You’ll find that it’s as easy as pi!

Cute poem. The math side of my brain doesn’t function and yes, I’m quite serious. Gorgeous colors in this image. We don’t have graffiti in our town so I had to photograph some on a passing train. This reminded me I only posted one image. GASP!
I like this, it has an odd ethereal glow which works really well.
you know your math, girl
I’ve always been fascinated by street art. nice colors here, Elaine!
Looks like the writing is on the wall my friend ;o), well spotted and captured.
Photo à lire !
Crude art in the streets, given for free (:-). Nice image, with wonderful colors, warm/cold, as the streets! SwissCharles
Very nice Elaine. The colors are rich and luminous.
Dumpster art so to say, in its most positive meaning. Great colors Elaine
We have plenty of graffiti in my town, although is not really worthy of calling it art – more like tags ala ‘kilroy waz here’ and the likes.
Nice image and a funny poem.
A lovely shot of dumpster graffiti.
Fantastic. Almost feels like a light painting.
The glow is certainly eye-catching. And it is wonderful of the neighborhood children to take the time to decorate a lowly garbage bin.You have done justice to their efforts.
i like how you did this.. the white spray painted graffiti seems as though it’s glowing..
Graffiti. The art of the street. The colors are quite beautiful.:-)
luminous pi – appropriate for a transcendential number
Un encadrement bien étonnant comme souvent par ici;-)
WOnderful little piece of grafitti. Colors are awesome!
Very vibrant. The white really pops off the screen.
Well shot Elaine most mortals would walk past & not notice what a good image it is… Les
HA really great poem that fits the photo perfectly. Who would have guessed that d dumpster could be art?
cool abstract image, you portraited the rust very well the greens pop my monitor out.
The poem so fits wit this capture, a wonderful bit of graffiti, just curious is this on one of those big garbage bins
Cool picture, I loke the colors here. Nicely seen.We hardly have any graffiti here in the neighborhood, and occasional arrow through the hart doesn’t count does it
Nice shot of the graffiti!
I think I pass this dumpster everyday. Suddenly it looks interesting.
Simple design on green canvas that is a great shot- I like the color matching – who knew the graffiti person could have such great taste.
Lovely colors and detail.
You have shown the warmth that does lie in the cold of the city. I can just imagine where this must be sitting, but somehow you make it seem inviting!
