Weather Vane
Drove past this church… And I think there’s a weathervane on top of it… I thought of you, Ginnie… But we drove by it too fast… I couldn’t get a good picture… But seriously, I don’t think it was a cross!

Definitely not a cross, Elaine, but it is intriguing. If you can figure out where the church is (near what city?), you might be able to Google it to get a better look?
yeah, it was a long drive we were on… so i’m not sure where it was… it was a weather vane, i’m sure of it
the golden tones do make it stand out from a long distance, Elaine!
yes! it was shining brightly in the sun!
It sure looks like a stark sterile building. At least to me.
you think? i don’t really like steeples anymore…. but i thought this one was kind of pretty.

The figure on the steeple is the Mormon angel Moroni blowing a trumpet.
(This is all just FYI. I’m not part of the Mormon church.)
eeeek!!!!! that’s scary!!! i mean, thanks for the info haha
I am not sure what to think about the church, particularly after Phil’s bit of information. What I like about the photo, though, is the reflection to the left, that almost resembles a church on its own.
haha, i know, Phil is always so helpful 🙂 i like the reflection too, and it covers that ugly sign
it’s a very nice architectural design
neat capture
yes, i thought it was pretty toooo… they must have 3 steps to SOMETHING in their doctrines 🙂
