Friends

September 12, 2008 Elaine-

You can’t buy loyalty, they say

I bought it though, the other day;

You can’t buy friendship, tried and true,

But just the same, I bought that too.

I made my bid, and on the spot

Bought love and faith and a whole job lot

Of happiness, so all in all

The purchase price was pretty small

I bought a single trusting heart,

That gave devotion from the start

If you think these things are not for sale,

Buy a brown-eyed puppy with a wagging tail.

PREV Somewhere....
NEXT Snow Blindness

Is that a dog? Nice composition, did you write your name on him while he was sleeping? Cute shot Elaine. See you changed your comments page back.

Loyal little creature:-) Probably wouldn’t be able to sleep if he had to be away for the night. Bless it’s little pea pickin’ heart. Neat capture.

Great composition, looks like she is fighting to stay comfy… and not ready to move for anything.Maybe you should have written his name on the head of the dog… 😉

Fun, fun shot. Love the details — your name tattooed on your husband’s shoulder, his stubble, and the doogie’s very cute expression. Almost lookes like she’s being squished with love.

Elaine, this is composed perfectly, the tatoo, the cool dog, the sleeping unaware human…and the slightly harsh lighting is enough to wake up that dog. He’s guarding his friend.

Hahahaha…. whether the dog felt breathless because of being dealt with? A nice moment. Regards from Yogyakarta INDONESIA.

Wonderful picture. The mood is great. The tattoo and the peaceful look of the dog add up to it.
