Mirror by Sylvia Plath

I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.

Whatever I see, I swallow immediately.

Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike

I am not cruel, only truthful –

The eye of a little god, four-cornered.

  19. Nice shot, really like all the different elements you have gotten in this shot. Did you have to drive around a bit to capture only one car in the mirror?Great tones too.As usual lovely processing, well done

  20. Super. I like the processing which adds really interest to this fine image.

  21. getting quite creative in the framing department.. 🙂 i like the selective focus and the processing too.. this looks cool! great shot! 🙂

  22. Interesting that this should carry two different perspectives (counting the frame of the mirror as a second) without a human subject. But there’s a wonderful presence here, of *being*. In a way it reminds me of the first-person shooter videogames, Half Life and F.E.A.R. You, the photographer aren’t visible – despite referencing yourself – yet your presence is very much there. I like this alot, it makes great cinema, I think, if that isn’t too pretentious. 🙂

  23. Great shot! Like mysterious reflexion, well composed. SwissCharles

  24. Interesting atmosphere! Because of the tones it makes me think the photo taker is a detective from an old movie and is on a stakeout!
