Under Construction

  1. Definitely one of the coolest under construction images I’ve seen Elaine. Really like the red steel beams, very captivating..-= John Maslowski´s last blog ..<a href="http://www.sirius2photo.com/photo/index.php?showimage=300“ rel=”nofollow”>Candy =-.

  2. the construction reminds me of those japanese gates, those torii that form the entry to shinto shrines. i think it is the color more than anything. here is a wikipedia link to the itsukushima shrine near hatsukaichi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itsukushima_Shrinesee what i mean?.-= Seraphine´s last blog ..<a href="http://encoreseraphine.com/2010/01/16/camel-assisted-therapy/“ rel=”nofollow”>Camel Assisted Therapy =-.

  3. p.s. even the sky looks the same. eerie..-= Seraphine´s last blog ..<a href="http://encoreseraphine.com/2010/01/16/camel-assisted-therapy/“ rel=”nofollow”>Camel Assisted Therapy =-.

  4. Nice red colour, love those rooftops in the background too!.-= Zing´s last blog ..<a href="http://zingphotography.aminus3.com/image/2010-01-17.html“ rel=”nofollow”>Laughter =-.

  5. on se demande bien ce que c’est finalement

  6. Under construction…just like your blog, day after day 😀 I love it, Elaine.

  7. of course it’s your sky. i see the cloud with your name on it. occasionally, a little sprinkle of you wets the sidewalk. and afterwards, the air smells really clean.convenience stores are shrines of sorts. there are two kinds of people in the world: one worships either buddha or a burrito.am i right, or am i right?

  8. Your blues & reds make me glad, Elaine! Your minimalism rocks my soul. This William Eggeleston feel to this beauty blows my mind. A master composition & a great photograph! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

  9. Wonderful color!! Love the simplicity of the graphic composition. Really nice!!

  10. Golden Gate Bridge color here, sunny one ! Is your site under construction too ? Seems to me it’s a new face lifting each day, correct ? 🙂 Good !

  11. I like the sound of the drugs that you mentioned, E but not so much the welfare. Funnily enough, Canada wil not let us in even though we have family there and will come with money enough to pay our way. They’ve tightened up immigration to the point that we have to have PHD’s or be able to start a business that employs at least 20 Canadian citizens before they will consider us!I’ll have to make do with a month a year until retirement I guess. If you turn your head upside down to view this image, with the clouds at the base and shadow at the top, it looks a little like Elton John’s face from the mid seventies with the blue gates looking like those spectacles he used to wear….. Now, about those drugs!

  12. Great underconstruction image 🙂 I like the colors!

  13. Nice strong colours here with a hint of vintage. I like this Elaine. You’ve changed you blog again…I like that too 🙂

  14. like each monday , we are under construction ;)A bit vintage with your treatment, luv it !bisous

  15. I love this Elaine. I’ve been involved in landscape images lately, and this inspires me to take a twist with my camera. I love the lines, and the popping color.

  16. where are the husband and the puppie? I like the lines and the colors in this image – very nice work

  17. Creative romantic statement of the sky with prosaic earthly shell … Elaine bravo!

  18. Wonderful vivid colors in this image. (at first I thought you were redesigning your site. remember when site designers used to put up a notice like that? oh, well, you know:-)

  19. And what about this cloud above the construction!!! Seems an UFO, hahaha!!Cheers Elaine.x

  20. Like the strong colors you’ve processed this with, nice work.

  21. very cool contrast between the red and blues.

  22. Excellent find! I like the red beams against the blue fence. All we get here are boring chain link fences around construction sites.

  23. You’ve changed everything here… The donkay was not sure to be at the right place!.-= tagazou´s last blog ..<a href="http://tagazouane.over-blog.com/article-interdit-aux-moins-de-18-anes–43281179.html“ rel=”nofollow”>Interdit aux moins de 18 ânes? =-.
