Totally like… me
Gravity is Matter's Response to Loneliness…
Awww. I guess that’s one way to get there, especially if you’re in a hurry, right? I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever ridden in one???
you’ve never been in a taxi? wow, sis, what does that even MEAN? i guess it means you always had someone who loves you to give you a ride 🙂
Well, of course I’ve been in a taxi, Elaine, but actually not that many times in my life. What I’m not sure of is if I’ve ever been in a YELLOW taxi?
awww and here i was picturing you maybe in one of those horse drawn carriages from years when people that loved you got you there safely… you are a queen after all 🙂 the fairy tale of the woman who never had to take a cab lol
you certainly had a terrific vantage point for this capture
what is it about taxi cabs that make them so photogenic?
love the lines on the street as an element here as well
aww, thanks, sister… what a sweet comment! i’m honoured 🙂
In America taxis were yellow, or was it only in NY? Now with Uber, no more specific color, isn’t? Two reasons to feel nostalgic for many Americans, maybe.
I put now on my headphone “Ladies of the canyon”. And that makes me a bit nostalgic. “Saudade, come se fala num dos meus países”.
i’m in canada, and our taxis are yellow for the most part… never taken an uber!
and cheers to nostalgia! xoxox
Love Joni MItchell and that song. I like how you captured the feeling of movement. Friendship
thank you! my camera has a tendency to blur, and it’s a good thing i love blur xox
a wonderfully dynamic image of a typical metropolitan city, Elaine. love it!
Ayush, thank you so much! xox
Where I live taxis are white…
the exception that proves the rule? 🙂
of course 🙂
I absolutely love Joni. She is a goddess.
i concur, lol thanks, dude
Of course, you had to put in the Joni Michell song. But the question is: where does the travel go?
to the airport, and then home 🙂
Hello, I read that the yellow taxis have a calendar, for this reason this picture!
i’m not sure what you mean, but if i did, i’m sure i would like it 🙂
