Sparkle And Shine
I have a wooden heart hanging from the rearview mirror of the car, and I was trying to take a picture of it while it was swinging back and forth, and this is how one picture turned out, while the heart was out of frame.. all bokeh… well except the curly cue… it looks like I’m under water.

Steve Earle singing ‘Sparkle and Shine’ live… he was so sexy back when he sang ‘Copperhead Road’.. now, he has a long grey santa claus beard, in keeping with the season…advancing age, takes it’s toll on all of us… oh wait, no beard in this vid, i had trouble choosing.. just male pattern baldness and thick glasses hiding his amazing eyes, and he’s also quite overweight now too, but i can’t throw stones.. but none of this stopped me from asking him to marry me on his facebook page 🙂 I’m still waiting for him to come around to my way of thinking… hehe

Oh my. It’s hard to believe that’s the same man…except for his voice, of course. Like they say, getting old is such a bit**. HA!

my friend Cindy got a picture of Steve Earle a couple of summers ago, and he is BIG now, and that huge grey beard!… she posted it on her FB page with a ton of other pictures, but i saw those amazing eyes and i said ‘IS THAT STEVE EARLE????’ she was so shocked that I knew lol… I was all ‘so you have steve earle over for bbq???’ she explained that she was at a charity event… he has changed a lot that’s for sure…
in the second video, that distinctive string sound from the ‘little guitar’ was actually a mandolin …i saw steve talking about it on david letterman, he said he found the mandolin, didn’t know what it was or how to play it so he just strummed it like a guitar… that and the bagpipes ..so cool
