Beautiful For Spacious Skies

We have a place nearby that is just full of bald eagles, I can never seem to get a shot that shows them as magical as I see them.

  1. Twila PAris is an old favorite of mine. Yes, Bald Eagles are certainly majestic, but hard to get a photo of. Friendship

    1. i can’t even remember if i meant to catch them all at the side of the frame lol thanks, sweetie xoxoxox

  2. I remember driving to Prince Rupert years ago when the oolichans were running and there were hundreds of eagles. It was astounding.
An excellent photo, by the way.

    1. yes, they are amazing to see in numbers, aren’t they? i don’t know what the eagles are doing there, they are just always there! a LOT of them! thanks about the photo! xoxoxoxox

  3. 3 in 1. Good shot 🙂 Ever tried to get close to one?

    1. no, i haven’t, but i used to live on a boat and when i was out on the dock, one dove into the water about 10 feet away from me, with that loud screech! it was amazing!
      thanks about the picture xoxoxoxoxox

  4. i’ve had those thoughts as well. i attribute it to being there in the moment being so aware of their presence in comparison to the photograph. however, i love the minimalism here and how they seem to be in a socially distanced line with the fourth one barely visible.

    1. you are right, their presence is heavy, and in a picture, they are ‘just birds’… xoxoxoxox
social distancing bald eagles! lol i like it 🙂

  5. i quite like this shot just as it is, Elaine – the birds spread against the backdrop of the blue sky!

    1. thank you, Ayush! SOOC! xoxoxox

  6. This remonds me Inever saw an eagle in the reality. There are not many in the Alps. Ity mist be a strong emotion to “meet” on of them.

    1. it’s a very strong emotion to ‘meet’ one, up close, with that eerie cry! xoxoxox
