Beautiful For Spacious Skies

July 24, 2020 Elaine-

We have a place nearby that is just full of bald eagles, I can never seem to get a shot that shows them as magical as I see them.

Twila PAris is an old favorite of mine. Yes, Bald Eagles are certainly majestic, but hard to get a photo of. Friendship

I remember driving to Prince Rupert years ago when the oolichans were running and there were hundreds of eagles. It was astounding.
An excellent photo, by the way.

no, i haven’t, but i used to live on a boat and when i was out on the dock, one dove into the water about 10 feet away from me, with that loud screech! it was amazing!

i’ve had those thoughts as well. i attribute it to being there in the moment being so aware of their presence in comparison to the photograph. however, i love the minimalism here and how they seem to be in a socially distanced line with the fourth one barely visible.

you are right, their presence is heavy, and in a picture, they are ‘just birds’… xoxoxoxox

This remonds me Inever saw an eagle in the reality. There are not many in the Alps. Ity mist be a strong emotion to “meet” on of them.
