I have always loved taking photos. Many years ago my husband made it clear he was not in favor of it. SO I stopped. For years I did not take out my camera. I missed so many family photos. I missed so many memories on camera. He is now supportive again. SO I understand what you mean. Friendship
yeah, you know that even disinterest is just as bad as out and out hostility toward something, it affects us just as bad… we need loooooove, don’t we sister? Friendship back, xoxoxoxox
Kim is very supportive of my photography but I would do it even if she wasn’t. It is part of who I am. I am surprised that anyone would not be supportive and kind of surprised that a lack of support would be expressed.
Is it rude to say that?
no, it’s not rude… my husband is mostly a willing subject… in this picture i had just made a bad joke about him, so he got up from sitting beside me and sat across from me and i snapped a picture lol he’s pretty supportive, you can tell by the zillions of pictures i have of him in my blog lol
lol i hear ya…. once i took an angry pic of my husband, and i said ‘just SMILE’… so he gave me a sarcastic fake smile, i clicked the shutter and it sure looked like a real smile in the pic lol it was funny

well i guess we all have some moments like that, Elaine. and as others have commented, you can still pursue photography with or without support!
yes, photography is a rather personal thing, something inside… it probably doesn’t need support… thanks, Ayush! xoxoxoxox
