foot in blue

January 13, 2009 Elaine-

I don’t feel like walking today, my feet are blue, a little under the weather, no shoes, fallen arches, too many miles travelled to no end…

Elaine, I’m really liking the use of textures in your images. They give your images a whole new and different feel. I think you put a post on one of my landscape shots the other day that you were not so experienced at taking them? Well I have absolutely no idea how use textures in post production on a shot! My post production skills are strictly limited.

Interesting effect. It looks a bit like video noise. The images themselves are strong enough that they don’t need the additional texture, but you use them very appropriately.

it definitely looks like a screengrab from a music vid.. the melancholic mood of the shot is amplified by the tone you chose to process this with.. nice work.. 🙂

Love your creative style and how you don’t even have to leave the house to come up with great shots. But when a foot is that color, it is not a good sign and you may want to go to the doctor and have it checked out.

The effect is very cool, and together with the color it becomes a superb Artsy image.

A reminder that time marches on relentless, one day it’ll be a struggle, actually some days are already a struggle!!Nice use of textured layers as always but I can see this one being an album cover, cool stuff!

Great work again, great use of textures and processing… I need to learn how to do this sometime 🙂 I have to agree with Terry though, if your foot is that blue, a doctor visit is recommended ;)Well done.

Nice, I like how the lines of the texture echo the plaid of the blanket.
