The Last Picture of Coco

March 12, 2010 Elaine-

This is in the Vet’s office moments before we had her put to sleep, you can see she’s having trouble standing and keeping her head up, she’s already half way to heaven, my poor baby, we love you so…. i suppose there will be more happier pictures of coco coming up, because i’m posted 2 or 3 months ahead

it’s heart breaking and loving. it’s also a very intimate, personal moment that defies any other description.

You managed to capture the soul of the blues. But remenber closing one door opens up a new one. Keeping the memory & turning towards a new found love. It’s such a fine line between sadness & happiness. A great melancholic photograph that made me curious for the more happy pictures, Elaine! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

This is a heartbreaking image but i’m happy to read we’ll see Coco again & again, always a pleasure to have her on the screen. And now, she’s able to watch up from above too. Cheers, dear lil’star ! And hugs*

Very heartbreaking. Was she sick? Well, at least you have pictures of her to remind about her everyday. Sorry for your loss.

That is very sad. Losing a loved one is so hard. I guess in a way it is good that dogs don’t live as long as we do, so we are usually the ones to suffer the loss instead of the other way around.

Good little Coco. Such a sad photo of a good old dog. I did the same for my old girl Nell the day before I had to take her to the vet.

The hardest part about owning and loving our animals is when the time comes to say goodbye. As big as I am, I’m always in floods when mine make that final journey. So sad, Elaine. I think that the bright side is always the wonderful life they shared with us, the fun they gave and the memories we cherish.

Elaine, I’m so sorry … Unfortunately, the passing hurts. I have a dog friend, and he also soon go away … It’s very old and so dear. This picture is exceptional and extraordinary beautiful. Colors give hope for a better world.

So sorry to hear about Coco, you must be devastated as I was losing my Yorkie. But I can’t stand to see animals in pain.
