  1. interesting choice of title.. but it does feel like they’re coming towards me.. 🙂

  2. They do look cold and foreboding the way you shot them. Nicely done, E.

  3. les homme sont fous d’aller vivre dans des cages à lapins

  4. Hi Elaine i have missed my visits lately….sorry i’ve been busy:(….. but this photo of the Unfriendly Giants is fantastic….i love the way that you framed them against a menacing sky….not only that but you even through a crane for good measure lol!!!….xx oo ….peter:)

  5. wonderful in this tonality, bravo!!!1

  6. Ya..they do look a little overwhelming from your point-of-view. Love the processing!

  7. Truly unfriendly set against that sky. I like the perspective.

  8. there is a sort of unfriendly feel to this, nice processing to create the mood.

  9. Wow – This is totally cool! They do look very menacing! Great shot!

  10. Yeah, a bit intimidating, but you can still outrun them. Very good “ominousity.”

  11. they’re not un-friendly! they’re just mis-understood 🙁

  12. attack of the killer apartments! don’t use the elevators, use the stairs.

  13. Very cool photo!

  14. Places like this would sure still look threatening if you had used a rose-tint filter. I can well remember the concept of building upward was slated to offer all those empty green spaces to enjoy at ground level . . . oh, yes ?!

  15. I’m glad to see the crane, I was concerned for a minute that the space for storing yuppies would run out and they might move into your neighborhood.I’m really not a fan of this new template.

  16. Elaine, that’s my point of view. My kind of processing. My kind of frame. It’s all in there: Concrete, steel & glass. Coldness, urbanity & beauty. A new favourite! All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
