  1. How can mushrooms be too mushroomy? I guess I love mushrooms in all kinds of shapes, forms, tastes and smells. As long as they are not poisonous…

    1. i don’t know, i just found the smell made me feel sick… mushrooms are a fungus, and i’m kind of sensitive to molds and fungi

  2. i have no way of identifying which ones are the good ones and which ones not, Elaine. hope they tasted better.

    1. lol i don’t know either, but they came from the grocery store so i would hope they are good!

  3. If you don’t want them, I’ll take them!

    1. come and get ’em, Phil !!

  4. google and i don’t know what the proper name for those is

i always buy the white button mushrooms and i don’t require very many to have enough

guess i’m kinda like you on that. a little goes a long way.

    1. yes, the white buttons are goooood… i went thru college having a mushroom and cheese omelette in the morning, nom nom

  5. cremini mushrooms is what i believe you have in your pic

watching Lidia’s Italian cooking and she just happened to be cooking with them

    1. i just asked hubby, he couldn’t remember the name, but when i asked him if they were cremini, he immediately said ‘YEP!!’ thanks, sister, now we know what to avoid lol

  6. They’re actually the mushrooms we always buy when we need mushrooms, Elaine, and I LOVE them! In fact, I need to think of more recipes for how I can use them. HA! (One of these days I’ll go back to see what photos I missed while we were one.)

    1. yes, i can see where people who loooove mushrooms and aren’t sensitive, would looooove cremini mushrooms even more!
